1. UN GLOBAL Compact

Since 2013, we have been members of the UN Global Compact. In collaboration with our suppliers, we strive to build a more responsible and transparent supply chain, ensuring responsibility throughout the processes behind the products we deliver.

The sustainable development goals

We don’t have an impact on all 17 goals and their underlying targets. But we focus our effort on the goals where we can make an impact through our business area.

2. SCIENCE BASED TARGETS (SBTI)

In 2022, our 1.5°C-aligned target for Scope 1 and 2 emissions was officially approved. By 2030, we are committed to reducing our internal consumption by 42%.​

Scope 3 GHG CO2 emissions calculations for delivered products. Metz is dedicated to measuring CO2 emissions from delivered products. To achieve this, we gather data from our supply chain to calculate the emissions and have partnered with a trusted third-party system for the GHG calculation. ​

We ensure that all products meet EU regulations and directives while verifying material claims through recognized certifications.​

Our CSR team, in collaboration with trusted third-party partners, rigorously reviews documentation and test reports to uphold compliance standards.
